Here you’ll find all the imibhudulo – where I trace the meanings of words through their various derivations in isiZulu, looking at the sociological and anthropological meaning along the way:

-cwiya – to cut off small pieces

dabu – split or cleave

-lo – the carnivorous beast (or the King of the amaZulu)

-vuma – to agree, assent (and 26 more!)

-fa – to die

monoconsonantal verbs

-hlang – to meet / the reeds

-hlung – the essence of pain

lee – slip-sliding away

notha – rich, fat, economics?

hláka – scattering, dispersing & being clever
